Author/Opus: This is the 4th puzzle from guest contributor Fatih Kamer Anda.

Rules: Combination of Masyu and Battleships. Standard Masyu rules. All empty cells not occupied by the Masyu loop will belong to the fleet of ships given below. The whole fleet must be placed in the grid; different ships cannot be placed in adjacent cells that share an edge or corner.

Difficulty: 4 stars

Time Standards (highlight to view): Grandmaster = 5:30, Master = 10:00, Expert = 20:00

    Funny how shaky logic can make a one page puzzle consume four pieces of paper. Once I got over my multiple errors, I actually quite enjoyed the solving path. Just wish I’d been logical enough to start with.

    SPOILERS SORRY.

    Can the vertical size 2 ship be replaced with a size 2 ship in the bottom of the center 2×2 cell (row 6, column 5&6)?

      Michael: That will lead to two ships being in diagonally adjacent cells, given the placement required in row 7 column 7. This is against the rules for Battleships.
