Although I obtained the correct answer string, it seems that the solution in the bottom two rows is not unique. Am I missing something here?
I’m confident the puzzle solution is unique (not to say we can’t make an error once in a blue moon — although we still have not yet in 6+ years of publishing), but in part because no one else has mentioned it yet in the time this grid has been up. Can you share a picture of the grid to confirm your ambiguous spots? The 2 down clues in C1 and C10 are most important in constraining the bottom two rows.
Apologies. I see it now!
great puzzle overall but either I missed a simpler bit of logic for the first step or the first step is just drawn out in a kinda unsatisfying way.
