Rules: Standard Nurikabe rules.
Answer String: Enter the length in cells of each of the black segments (the unnumbered, connected “ocean”) from left to right for the marked rows. Separate each row’s entry from the next with a comma.

Interesting! It wasn’t easy to solve this logically and not just start guessing especially in the end, but i learned some new strategies along the way 🙂

I don’t always enjoy Nurikabe where it feels like there’s a lot of open space and a lot of global thinking right at the start. This one was interesting, though, and I really liked the logic for getting started. It felt fair and logical, rather than just sort of fiddly.
