Impressive construction. When I saw the theme “GEMINI/INIGEM”, I actually thought it read “INIMEG” and hence looked for the clues being flipped. Apparently “only” rotated 5 places in each direction, which still makes it impressive nevertheless. Looking for some “GEMINI/INIMEG” Cross the Streams then.
By the way, why “GEMINI” and not any other even-length word?
“By the way, why “GEMINI” and not any other even-length word?” You ask this as if you do not know what Gemini means. There are very good astrological reasons why these past two weeks have been scheduled for this time of the year. 🙂
Surely this should last four weeks, if it’s due to astrological reasons…
Can someone explain to be how the theme relates to the puzzle? As in, why is GEMINI the theme for the first puzzle and INIGEM the theme for the second one?
The second puzzle is formed by swapping the left and right halves and top and bottom halves of the first puzzle.
That’s very cool!
These dyads are getting noticeably harder to solve in the same grid at the same time. :/
