Rules: Place either 0, 1, or 2 mines into each empty cell so that each number represents the total count of mines in all neighboring cells, including diagonally adjacent cells. See also this example:
Answer String: For each cell in the marked rows, enter the number of mines (0, 1, 2) for each cell. Enter 0 if the cell is a number cell. Separate each row’s entry from the next with a comma. In this example, the answer is “022102,002000”.

Note: This is a bonus puzzle and is probably harder than a usual Monday/Tuesday puzzle, particularly if you have not solved many Double Minesweeper puzzles.

Yes, this is the first Double Minesweeper I’ve ever done, I think. Still figuring out the best way to do this on MS Paint. Nice puzzle!
I used the circle shape to draw the mines, and flood-filled all completed squares in a light color. It seemed to work fairly well for me.
(Slightly larger squares would be a nice convenience for MS Paint solving, though.)
I just used a thick brush. Made a dot in the top of the box for a mine, drew a short line across the bottom of the box when complete.
I just used numbers — no dots, except to temporarily mark a cell that had either 1 or 2.
