I’m probably being dumb, but I can’t make this work after five separate attempts. It definitely has a solution? 🙂 I keep wanting the top-right to be a 2.
There is definitely a solution to this one. I got stuck in that corner too though, so you’re not alone.
I don’t know what problem you’re running into exactly, but you may have made an assumption about the blocks somewhere that’s giving you trouble. There is a way to make the right side work, I promise you.
I remembered having to erase part of the top right myself due to some bad assumptions I have made.
I faced the exact same problem!!!I wanted the top right 1 to be a 2.What are the odds of that happening 2 persons going wrong in the same place…?!In the end i had to erase the entire grid and solve again to get it correct.
The path (without details) that I believe was intended runs top left, bottom left, bottom center, bottom right, up through the middle and up the right side as you go.
Good luck.

That is the path I used as well. I will also admit that I made two mistakes about block placement that were correctable (too new to this puzzle type).
There was some very Nurikabe-like logic in this one. Not bad; I didn’t run into any problems (though I did get stuck for about a minute).
Top right was one of the last areas I filled in. Once I figured out how to handle the 12 and 7, the rest come together very quickly.
02:02. An interesting one! Probably because this is like the fifth Kurotto I’ve ever solved or something, and I’ve never seen this trick before (which may or may not be basic; I need more Kurotto).
