I enjoyed solving the puzzle, but this mean that Twisted Tuesday and Franken-Friday are a thing of the past?
They aren’t gone, but the recent scheduling has been more free-form than before as we learn to manage contributions from many more authors.
This could have taken the “Franken” label and was put on Friday as it was “different”. But as what I’d call a “novelty” and not a “variation”, it seemed going without the label made the most sense this week. There is a decidedly Franken-Friday puzzle next week from Palmer.
