Editor’s Note: Or, for our less pi-ous solvers, Happy Tau/2 Day as well! We’re very open-minded here at GMPuzzles.
Ooh, a 355/113 Day puzzle! The last digit is wrong, though.
Correct for truncating, just wrong if you’re rounding.
But 355/113 = 3.14159292035398….
I’m sure Jack was describing the more transcendent number. I wasn’t about to reject the puzzle for this reason, but my own (long ago) Pi-themed Battleship Sudoku, now the example here, went with 7 where Grant chose 6. So designers can choose to round or truncate in different ways sometimes.
Great PI Day puzzle.
I have been a big fan of your cross the streams puzzle on your blog for a while now, and they have also helped with other similar puzzles such as graffiti snake and paint-by-numbers types. Came in at 4:55, but obviously have a lot more experience than most playing in your sandbox. Nice construction though to celebrate the day well.
Thanks.

Precisely 03:14 😀
Unusually tougher for Grant’s puzzle, but then if his puzzles are here with 03:14 Grandmaster time, I shouldn’t expect an easy puzzle.
I may have rounded slightly unusually today, but congrats on being on the dot.

Too many shades spoil the fox .
Switched to using dots instead of shading cells. It felt a bit different.Need to get a feel for the dots.

This was my first Cross the Streams. Not really sure whether I like these puzzles or not, I guess I’ll have to solve some more of them 😀
A lovely construction, (and even lovelier that Thomas was able to justify a 3:14 grandmaster time).
I finished in 10:28 but really kicked myself after a couple of long pauses where the next step really was in plain sight, but I just kept overlooking the critical piece.
